thanks. at the mo,my best bet was a 72 custom in vintage and rare guitars in london, that was about 1400 notes.
there was also one with the gibson embossed pickup covers ( [img]rolleyes.gif[/img] ) but some cock had changed the bridge to the style that was on a les paul artist, with the fine tuners etc.
acei also found this on ebay, it is described as old and knackered, but i challenge u to find any damage on it, it looks mint to me

*vetran of ebay* and another good point, go see tubs and ask about sore points on les pauls, then ask the bloke about the guitar, and always ask for photos.
